Darya Minovi
MPH-65 Candidate, Sustainability, Health, and the Global Environment
Darya is an MPH Environmental Health student in the Sustainability, Health, and the Global Environment track. She is primarily interested in the emerging field of planetary health, and how community development projects can both promote health and protect critical ecosystems, rather than compromising one for the other. Prior to coming to Harvard, she worked at Health In Harmony, an international NGO in Portland, OR that uses health care as an incentive for rain forest conservation. Darya is originally from Washington, DC and studied public health and environmental policy as an undergraduate at the College of William & Mary. Outside of school, you can find her at the farmer's market, seeing live music, or volunteering in the community.
Adam Meier
MPH Candidate, Sustainability, Health, and the Global Environment
Adam is pursuing his MPH in Harvard’s T.H. Chan School’s new track, Sustainability, Health and the Global Environment. He is the sustainability manager for Harvard’s Longwood campus where he is responsible for initiating, implementing, and continually improving sustainability programs in coordination with stakeholders at the Harvard Medical School, the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He worked previously at the Boston-based sustainability consulting organization, New Ecology, where he managing the Massachusetts Green Retrofit Initiative, which provided energy management and sustainability consulting to the multi-family affordable housing sector. Adam can be found exploring trails and roads by foot, bicycle, ski, or drone.

Juan is passionate about transforming cities into health-promoting places where all people have an opportunity to live, work, learn, play, and thrive. Prior to Harvard, Juan worked as a grantmaker at The California Endowment where he helped manage multiple funding portfolios to support organizing and advocacy campaigns to promote healthy, equitable, and sustainable communities in Southern California. Juan is originally from San Diego and studied human biology as an undergraduate at Stanford University.
